| Hi. Good to see you. Long time no type. How've you been? I've been ok. Good. Now that that's out of the way...
For those who don't know, I'm home for the summer. That's right, no more road for me. Long story.
Either way, things are going great now. I'm home so that means I can see Kate whenever I want to (HUGE bonus to being home), I can work a little bit, and I'm just able to hang out during summer time. I honestly can say that I don't remember what it's like to be in Baton Rouge and not be in school. I'm having a hard time finding stuff to do with extra time. Well, not really. I go over to cody's and play xbox alot. I've been studying for my insurance license at least once a day (not like HARD studying, just listening to a CD). I've gone to lunch/hung out with alot of people that I haven't gotten to see in a long time. I've started leading worship at the ring again.
So actually, life's pretty good.
Kate's gonna be done with school pretty soon, which is funny, because I start work the week after she gets done with school. Our summers just don't line up. Sorry boo.
All in all, I'm home. And getting settled in. I really hate that I'm not on the road right now, but some things are just out of my control. AND, since I really enjoy being in control (or at least feeling like I'm in control) this has been frustrating, confusing, discouraging, blah, blah, blah. The bottom line? I could be much worse. I have a great family who supports me, an awesome girlfriend who's there every time I need her, a good strong exciting church to be a part of, and a job where I'll be helping people and working with people I like. Could be a lot worse, eh? Yeah. It could.
Well, it wasn't very funny. Sorry if that dissapoints you. Perhaps if there is enough positive feedback and encouragement, I'll see if I can try to make you laugh. I'm not that funny, but I'll try. Here me Xanga community? I'll try
Go get the Gnarls Barkley CD. Listen to "Crazy" and "Smiley Faces". They're wonderful. Very retro.
